Type 1 Surge Protector protects electrical systems against surge damage, the Type 1 Surge Protector BT BCM 25 RM/4P. Targeting 3-phase TN-S systems, it shields from transient overvoltage. Surge Protector for TV will also improve the safety of the system as well as the cost of maintenance of the equipment used in the system. When it comes to stable electrical protection the device can be considered quite reliable.

Type 1 Surge Protector

Type 1 Surge Protector is aimed at protecting against the surge voltages affecting electrical systems. It is typically introduced where a power supply in a particular building or structure is made, which offers excellent protection against lightning and transient overvoltages to make the wiring circuits safe and secure for industrial, commercial, and residential uses.
Type 1 Surge Protection for Distribution Boards

Function

Affords protection against the vagrant voltage that results from a lightning strike and another related electric mishap. It helps to protect against overvoltage and thus minimizes the probability of equipment damage and lower maintenance cost, thus it is an important element for establishing a reliable and safe electric network.
Type 1 Lightning Strike Protector

How it works

It works by letting surge currents through them while at the same time restricting voltages on conductors. Amps well discharges surge currents to the ground thus shielding the electrical systems as well as all connected appliances from overvoltage damage.
Type 1 Surge Protector for Main Power Supply

Installation Location

  • Gas Discharge Tube (GDT): Suitable for loads requiring momentary high current demand with low response time and enhanced protection.
  • Metal Oxide Varistor (MOV): A commonly used surge suppression element with good transient suppression performance.
  • Transistor-Based Protection: A high-level form of protection for electronic devices such as computers and phones, ensuring accuracy in voltage regulation.
Type 1 Surge Protector for Lightning Strikes

Types

Gas Discharge Tube (GDT): Ideal for high-energy surges with fast response and strong protection. Metal Oxide Varistor (MOV): A common surge suppression component with excellent transient suppression characteristics. Transistor-Based Protection: Advanced protection for electronic devices, offering precise voltage control. Each type serves specific needs, ensuring optimal protection for electrical systems and sensitive equipment in various applications."
